AM Mobile Mechanic is a fully equipped mobile workshop on wheels. Brakes, batteries, diagnostics, oil changes, suspension and pre-purchase inspections — done at your home, your office parking lot, or the side of the road. No tow truck. No waiting room. No upsell you didn't ask for.
01 — What we do
Everything below is done on-site with the tools in the van. If a job genuinely needs a hoist or a dealer-only computer, we'll tell you before we start — not after.
Grinding, squealing, a pedal that sinks, or a steering wheel that shudders when you stop. We measure pad thickness and rotor runout in front of you, show you the numbers, then replace only what's actually worn. Ceramic or semi-metallic, your call.
Dead in the driveway at 7am? We load-test the battery, check the alternator output and the parasitic draw, then install a new one on the spot if that's the answer. We also chase the no-crank gremlins — starter, relay, ground straps, ignition switch.
Full OBD-II scan with live data, not just a code read. A P0420 isn't always a catalytic converter, and a misfire code isn't always a coil. We test the circuit before we quote the part, so you're not paying for a guess.
Conventional, synthetic blend or full synthetic, plus filter, plus a 30-point look-over while we're under there. We top off washer fluid, check tire pressures cold, and tell you honestly what can wait until next time. We take the used oil away with us.
Clunks over the speed bumps on Gordon Randle, a wander at highway speed, uneven tire wear. Struts, control arms, sway bar links, tie rod ends, wheel bearings — we identify which one is actually loose before anything gets ordered.
Winter-to-summer changeover at your house, torque-wrenched to spec and re-checked. Punctures plugged where it's safe to plug, rotations, and honest advice when a tire is past saving. We'll tell you which of your four is the odd one out.
Headlights, tail lights, turn signals, power windows, blower motors that only work on setting four, mystery battery drains. We trace wiring with a meter instead of swapping parts until something works.
Buying used in the GTA? We meet you at the seller's address and go through it properly: frame and rocker rust, fluid condition, scan for cleared codes, brake and tire life, accident evidence. You get a plain-English verdict before you hand over a deposit.
Won't start, overheating, brake pedal to the floor, warning light you don't recognize. Call and describe it — if it's something we can safely handle at the roadside, we'll come. If it needs a tow, we'll say so straight away rather than charge you a call-out to find out.

03 — How it works
Tell us the year, make and model, roughly where the car is parked, and what it's doing (or not doing). A photo of the dashboard or the noise helps more than a description.
We give you a price range on the phone and confirm it once we've looked at the vehicle. Parts are quoted at cost plus a clear labour rate. No surprise line items on the bill.
Home driveway, condo visitor parking, office lot, or roadside. All we need is enough room to work safely around the car and permission to be there. We bring our own power and light.
We road-test where it's safe, show you the old parts, and walk you through what we did and what to keep an eye on. Card, e-transfer or cash on completion.
04 — Where we drive
Our home base is Gordon Randle Dr in Brampton, and most of our week is spent across the Vaughan side of the 427. If you're just outside the list below, call anyway — we often can, especially for booked-in work.
Condo and apartment buildings: we can usually work in visitor parking, but check with your property manager first — some buildings in the VMC and along Highway 7 require notice. Underground garages are fine as long as there's clearance and ventilation.
Winter: we work through the cold, but a heated garage or a covered spot makes a big difference on brake and suspension jobs. If you have one, mention it when you book.
05 — Hours & contact
The phone is the fastest way to get a real answer. If we're under a car, leave a message with your vehicle details and we'll call back the same day.
Emergency roadside call-outs are taken outside these hours when we're available — call and ask, the worst answer is no.
